Numbers Name Game

Have you ever woke up and looked at the clock and it has been a certain time such as 5.55  and then it happens again? You jump in the car and you keep seeing 555  on number plates or you find three five cent pieces in the bottom of your hand bag. I wonder how many of you have noticed numbers being significant in your life?  I know I have.  They seem to have a way of repeating themselves, things happening on particular dates, seeing repetitive numbers around, feeling good or bad about certain numbers.

I have always found the science of numerology interesting and more importantly quite accurate. This science was based on the ancient and famous philospher Pythagoras.  He was born is Greece around 590 BC  and was a very important figure in the development of mathematics.  He stated; ‘The world is built upon the power of numbers," Numerology became systems of both divination and magic based upon the concept that the entire universe is composed of mathematical patterns, and all things can be expressed in numbers which correspond to universal vibrations. Therefore, all things, including names, words, birth dates and birthplaces, can be reduced to numbers in order to determine personalities and destinies of individuals.

So it seems not only our date of birth, but our names also have numerological significance. When you think about it, your name is repeated over and over every day, every year of our life.  This creates a certain feeling or vibration.  Perhaps this is why people often change or abbreviate their names. When a baby is born sometimes the parents change their original name ideas because the child doesn’t seem like a Tom or a Mary. One friend of mine was born with one name but then was adopted and given another. My father wanted to call me Candida but my mother won and named me after the Queen. Sometimes I wonder would my life have been different being Candida?  Some people change their name purely for numerology reasons and swear their life has changed and improved. I am sure our surnames also have some effect but perhaps not as much unless you are often referred to as Mr. or Ms whoever consistently, such as a school teacher. I guess someone like Johnny Depp would use the whole name because he is often referred to by his full name.

It is quite simple to work out the numerical significance of your name. Use the name that everyone calls you, for example, if you were born Charles but everyone calls you Charlie, use Charlie. This is the stronger vibration. Then, follow the table below and add up your name.  Keep reducing the digits to a singular number. Then you can look up my abbreviated explanations.  There are some great numerology books around for the extra keen, you could try  ‘Secrets of the Inner Self’ by David A. Phillips

Use this simple table to work out the number that governs your name.
